Director General's Federal Investigation Agency Message Usman Anwar

 It is a matter of great honor and responsibility for me to assume charge as the Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). As Pakistan’s premier law enforcement body, the FIA carries the critical mandate of safeguarding national security, protecting public interest, upholding the rule of law, and combating complex crimes that threaten the very fabric of our society.

In today’s rapidly evolving security and technological landscape, the role of FIA has become more critical than ever. From combating transnational organized crime, human trafficking, and money laundering, to ensuring transparency and accountability in public service—our mandate is vast and deeply consequential for the people of Pakistan.

A comprehensive approach including enhancing the training and capacity of our personnel, investing in advanced forensic tools, and strengthening collaboration with international law enforcement agencies to disrupt these criminal enterprises and protect our citizens is the need of hour. Transparency, accountability, and adherence to the rule of law will guide every action we undertake.

I call upon all officers and staff of the FIA to reaffirm their commitment to our core values: professionalism, impartiality, and excellence.

I also extend my sincere gratitude to our national and international partners for their continued support and cooperation.
