Punjab Police ensured foolproof security for players and spectators: IG Punjab

Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem has congratulated the Peshawar Zalmi team for winning the final of PSL 11 (2026). In his congratulatory message, the IG Punjab said that all teams delivered outstanding performances in the tournament and played an important role in promoting cricket. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem lauded Lahore Police for ensuring the successful and peaceful conduct of PSL 11, stating that excellent security arrangements have enhanced Pakistan’s positive international image. He appreciated the performance of DIG Operations, CTO, SP Security Lahore, and all officers and personnel involved.

IG Punjab said that during PSL 11, Punjab Safe Cities Authority, district administration, and other law enforcement agencies provided full cooperation in security arrangements. Dolphin Squad, PRU, Elite Force, and all other units of Punjab Police demonstrated professional excellence. He further said that Punjab Police worked day and night to ensure foolproof security for players, officials, and cricket fans. He added that, as in the past, Punjab Police will continue to provide excellent security for national and international events in the future. IG Punjab also thanked citizens and the media for their cooperation in ensuring the peaceful conduct of PSL 11.
